Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 17:40:33 GMT

LONDON — Boris Johnson has been unable to give key WhatsApps to the U.K.’s official coronavirus inquiry because he cannot remember the passcode to his old iPhone, it was reported Thursday.According to the Times of London, the ex-PM doesn’t remember with “100 percent confidence” the code to access his former device, which he stopped using in May 2021 amid security concerns. A spokesperson for Johnson did not dispute the paper’s account. The Times reported that there are concerns the device will automatically disable and potentially erase its contents if the wrong code is entered. The U.K.’s COVID inquiry has requested all of Johnson’s pandemic WhatsApps and diaries. The Cabinet Office challenged the inquiry’s demand — claiming the material was “unambiguously irrelevant” — but lost their legal challenge last week. The government was given until 4 p.m. last Monday to hand over all material to the inquiry. Five takeaways from the Orioles’ 2023 MLB draft

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 17:40:33 GMT

The Orioles’ rebuild is long gone, and this week provided more evidence. In each of the organization’s first four seasons under executive vice president and general manager Mike Elias, the MLB draft was one of the most important events each year. The three days of the 2023 draft, however, were overshadowed by the goings-on of the big league club and its players. On Sunday, several hours before they drafted Vanderbilt center fielder Enrique Bradfield Jr. and two other college players, the Orioles routed the Minnesota Twins to end the first half of the season on a five-game winning streak, entering the break with the third-best record in the majors and the franchise’s best start since 1997.Days 2 and 3 of the draft were outshined even more by the All-Star Game festivities. While he lost in the first round, Adley Rutschman’s 27-homer performance during Monday’s Home Run Derby captivated the baseball world. The following night, Rutschman and three other Oriol...

First, the color, San Remo Green Metallic, what a color; It’s absolutely gorgeous to say the least. As a 2023 updated model, the X1 is a really great vehicle and for the price, owning a BMW has never been so affordable. Paired with a potent 2.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder and 7-speed dual clutch transmission ,the BMW X1 has phenomenal power and great gear ratios, making it easy to get out of the way, or make a pass when historically the X1 couldn’t.
